2011 Turkey Trot | Columbia Park | Kennewick, WA

Get your running shoes on for the annual 2011 Turkey Trot happening at Columbia Park in Kennewick tomorrow, November 24th at 8:45 am. The “Turkey Trot” is an annual fundraiser for the Benton-Franklin Chapter of the American Red Cross. This event includes a 5K run and a 1 mile walk/run through beautiful Columbia Park in Kennewick. Participants enjoy hot and cold beverages, fun opening ceremonies and race warm-up from Kia Ora, great kids area, goodie bags for kids, and prizes for the top finishers.

So come join thousands of people of all ages for a brisk walk or run to celebrate family, friendships, good health, and community while raising much needed funds for your local Red Cross.

What the Duck?

Don’t miss the 21st Annual Great Mid Columbia Duck Race on Saturday, October 17th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Columbia Park in Kennewick (new the Lampson Pits). This is a great family event serving a great cause for our local community. There will be food vendors, information booths, free activities and fun for the whole family. So, don’t miss your chance to purchase your $5 duck for a chance to win one of over 50 great prizes including a 2010 Toyota Camry. The ducks launch at noon. Hope to see you there!
